When Things Fall Apart
There are times in our life when everything goes wrong. Perhaps we lose our job, or relationships fall apart, or our health breaks down. We worked so hard to build things up, but now, uncontrollably, everything falls apart. times like this are an unavoidable part of life, and its easy to feel discouraged, angry or overwhelmed. But even if there is little we can do to fix the external situation, it is always possible to change our attitude towards it. Times like this show us what we really need to work on. The mental and emotional patterns that are keeping us trapped in limiting and painful cycles become easier to recognize and let go of. We can grow in patience and inner strength, and our suffering can be transformed into compassion and wisdom. On this course we will learn to use the profound psychology found in Buddha’s teachings to transform the difficult times in our lives into the greatest opportunities for spiritual growth.
