Wednesday morning meditation class

Learn how to turn your life around and find true happiness with practical methods drawn from Buddha’s teachings. Classes consist of guided meditations and a short and practical talk on how to apply Buddhist wisdom to the day to day problems we face in our busy modern lives. There will be time for questions. These classes are suitable for everyone, whether you have meditated before or this is your first time. No special clothing is necessary and most people choose to sit on chairs.

There is no need to book – just drop in to any classes you wish to come to. While it is best to attend the whole course, you are welcome to come whenever you have the time.

New Series: Essential aspects of Meditation and Mindfulness

Everything begins in the mind. Everything we say or do is preceded by thought and intention. Repeated actions form habits, which become character traits, which shape us into the person we are experiencing the kind of life we do. If our mind is confused and negative, a confused and negative life will invariably follow. It is therefore essential we learn to steer our mind in the right direction, a direction that leads to peace, inner freedom, fulfilment and joy. Meditation and mindfulness are tools that enable us to do this.
