Meditation is a method for making our mind peaceful and positive. In reality everyone needs this, because real, lasting happiness depends on a calm and positive mind. In this series of seven classes you will learn how to start a simple meditation practice which will help you find a calm centre in the midst of the busy, stressful lives most of us lead. There will also be practical advice on how to deal with common emotional problems like anger, and how to become a kinder, more confident person.

Classes consist of guided meditations and a short and practical talk on how to apply Buddhist wisdom to the day to day problems we face in our busy modern lives. There will be time for questions. These classes are suitable for everyone, whether you have meditated before or this is your first time. No special clothing is necessary and most people choose to sit on chairs.Staa
