Wednesday Evenings

Join us on Wednesdays for meditation classes that can improve the quality of your life. Seating is on chairs and there’s no need for special clothing. Each class includes guided meditations, an inspiring teaching and time for questions. There’s no need to book – just turn up!

Learn to Meditate

Weds 5 Sept – 3 Oct

In this 5-week series we will learn the basics of how to engage in meditation, what to meditate on, ways to overcome faults in our meditations, and methods to make our meditations more successful. These classes are suitable for all levels of experience, from complete beginners to those wishing to refresh and improve their meditation practice.

Meditations for a Happy and Meaningful Life

Join at any time – beginners are always welcome!

In these classes we will learn meditations from the Lamrim; a special presentation of Buddha’s teachings that is a step-by-step path of self-improvement leading all the way to the enlightened mind. These meditation practices are actual methods to control our mind, experience lasting inner peace and make our lives more meaningful. If we can control our mind we can permanently stop our problems and make ourself and others truly happy. This ancient Buddhist wisdom is equally (or maybe even more!) applicable in our busy, modern lives!

The classes will then break over Christmas and New Year and begin again in January.
