These online events will be fun, social activities to get people together as a community and raise some funds for the Centre at the same time!
The plan is to run a monthly Sunday In with a different activity and theme each time. They’ll be held on Zoom with everyone able to see and hear each other – so do be aware that your camera might be on when you join the meeting!
HOW TO JOIN THE FUN
Click the BOOK NOW button for the event you want to book for and follow the instructions on Eventbrite to book your tickets.
- After booking you’ll receive a confirmation email. Please check that you receive this as it’s where the Zoom link will be sent on the day of the event. Check your junk/spam folders too in case it’s landed there. If you don’t receive a confirmation email please contact us asap.
- An hour before the event starts you’ll receive the Zoom registration link by email.
- Click that link and register for the Zoom class.
- You’ll then be given a link to join the event.
- Click that link and when the host starts the meeting you’ll join a virtual Waiting Room and the host will admit you when the event starts.
We’d love it if everyone has their camera and microphone switched on so it’s live a social event but we understand if you’d rather be a bit private so there’s no pressure!
Your name will be visible on the participant list but if you wish to remain anonymous you can change that to something fun!
APRIL – Movie Quiz Night
Sunday 11th April 7-8pm
Join us for our monthly Sunday In – this month we’ll be holding a Movie Quiz night focusing on Disney, Marvel, Pixar and Dreamworks.
Join on your own or with your whole household – only one ticket needed per household.
This is an open event attracting people who come to meditation classes and many who just want a good night in – all ages welcome!
HOW THE EVENT WILL RUN
We’ll be using Zoom for this event so it might be a good idea, but not essential, to download the Zoom app.
