How to stay calm in the middle of a busy life
Modern life is fast, busy, and with so many demands on our attention pulling us in many different directions at the same time. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed and stressed. Its impossible to avoid all stressful situations, but we can learn to respond in a skilful way and keep calm in the middle of chaos. Meditation helps us to find a stable centre of peace within us, so that even when things get difficult we are not thrown off balance.
On this morning course we will explore special ways of thinking that help us to live life more lightly, help us let go of our stressed out minds and deal with our negative emotions more confidently and effectively.
Everybody is welcome to attend, regardless of experience. The course will consist of practical teachings and short guided meditations that will give rise to a peaceful feeling in the mind and improve our ability to deal with stress.
