Meditation Courses

Classes and courses at Ganden Kadampa Buddhist Centre are temporarily going online.

Please book tickets as usual via the booking buttons below and you will be sent instructions.

You will receive two emails:

  1. Eventbrite confirmation – no need to print it off
  2. We will email you a link on the day to access the course
  3. If the course was live-streamed, you’ll receive an email after the course has finished so you can access the recording for up to 48 hours.



We offer meditation courses to help you find practical solutions to everyday problems. The methods we teach to improve the quality of your life are derived from the teachings of Buddha but you don’t need to be Buddhist to benefit from these workshops.

All the meditation techniques are explained and practical advice is given on how to overcome difficulties, find lasting happiness and develop our full potential.

Everyone is welcome! It’s not necessary to have previous experience of meditation.
Costs (unless stated otherwise):
Half-day courses cost £12 
Full-day courses cost £20 

In order to cherish your local Centre these classes are only intended for people who reside in our regular catchment area of Calderdale.

Developing Inner Strength

Sat 2 May 2020 10am-1pm with Kelsang Chogma

On this online retreat Kelsang Chogma will guide meditations and explain positive thinking techniques that help us develop inner strength. This strength of mind will help us through any difficulties and problems we experience or encounter. She will also explain and guide the special healing meditations “Taking and Giving”

This ancient meditative practice is the best way to transform all types of difficulty — such as pain, illness, anxiety — into beneficial power. Once we learn this practice, every breath we take can be incredibly meaningful. This meditation is deeply healing, increasing our spiritual strength and ability to cope with life’s challenges.
