Meditation Courses

These half-day courses are held in-person at Ganden Kadampa Buddhist Centre, usually with an online option available too.

Advance booking is advised for both options to ensure a space.

Please note that although government restrictions have eased, due to the layout of the building and size of our meditation room safety measures remain in place at Ganden Centre, including:

  • Face-masks must be worn in the building and meditation room.
  • As Covid symptoms can vary, if you feel unwell in any way, have been in contact with anyone with confirmed Covid, or are awaiting the results of a Covid test, please do not attend.

A Buddhist Approach to Loss

Saturday 2nd Oct 10:30am – 1pm

with Kelsang Chogma

Experiencing loss and unwanted changes in our lives can be a difficult and painful experience. We hope to find lasting pleasure, comfort and security in other people and things, but in the end none of these things can stay with us forever.

In this meditation course, Buddhist nun Kelsang Chogma will explain how we can use Buddha’s teachings and meditations to develop a special wisdom that will help us to deal with change and loss and remain calm and happy. We can begin to heal our mind and become a strong, wise and peaceful person for the benefit of ourself and others.

This course is suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners alike.

Tickets cost £12 plus Eventbrite fee.

You can attend this course in-person or online.

The online option will be live-streamed on Youtube Live with video replay available for 7 days.

The morning will consist of two sessions:
