Liberating Compassion – The Empowerment of Avalokiteshvara

Avalokiteshvara is the embodiment of enlightened compassion. In general, compassion is the heartfelt wish to free others from suffering. However, when we look at the world around us we see so much suffering and its easy to feel overwhelmed and unable to see a way out of the darkness our world seems to be falling into. There is an urgent need to connect with a light, love and power that is completely beyond the world of confusion and pain we are trapped in. We can do this through becoming close to Buddha Avalokiteshvara, the embodiment of the the compassion of all enlightened beings. This empowerment is a special guided meditation that establishes a deep inner connection with Buddha Avalokiteshvara. Based on this empowerment we can engage in the special meditation practices of Avalokitshvara, through which we gradually become part of enlightened compassion. Instead of drowning in hopelessness, we becoming part of the enlightened beings liberating activity..
